Day 1: beach and neighborhood
After you arrive, stroll around the area where you're staying and pick a nearby beach. Save any timed-entry visit for another day; that way your first outing adapts to your actual arrival time and to travel fatigue.
Day 2: a big view and Urca
Choose one main attraction, such as Parque Bondinho, and check its official ticketing. Spend the rest of the day in Urca and Botafogo instead of adding long trips across town. If the sky is overcast, swap the order with a cultural activity.
Day 3: cultural Centro or the Jardim Botânico
