If you are an Argentine citizen
Argentina publishes which documents are and aren't accepted for travel to Brazil: check the official list for Brazil ↗. Your DNI must be the latest version issued, valid and in good condition. Don't assume that a proof-of-application receipt replaces the travel document. Also check the documents required to leave the country, especially for minors.
If you hold another nationality
Residence in Argentina is not the same as Argentine citizenship for document purposes. Check your passport and whether you need a visa based on your nationality with the relevant Brazilian consulate ↗; requirements may change. Confirm the same information with the airline before your ticket is issued.
Traveling with children or teenagers
