What data we process

Río para vos has no user accounts, forms, comments or newsletter, and we do not sell personal data. We only process the following:

  • Browsing data measured with Google Analytics 4, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages viewed, traffic source, device and browser type, approximate location (city or country) and a pseudonymous cookie identifier. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
  • Server logs: IP address, date and time, requested page and browser. They are generated by the hosting service when it delivers each page.
  • What you send us by email: your email address and the content of your message.
  • Third-party resources: to display the fonts, your browser downloads them from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address (Google Fonts does not use cookies ↗). Some articles embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode ↗ (youtube-nocookie.com): if you play one, YouTube processes data under its own policy.

Google may process data in the United States and other countries. These transfers rely on the safeguards Google provides, such as standard contractual clauses and, for data from the European Union, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (LGPD art. 33; GDPR Chapter V).

How long we keep data

  • Google Analytics: event-level data is kept for the period set in the property, 14 months at most; cookies last up to 2 years (see the Cookie policy).
  • Server logs: 6 months, the period set by the Marco Civil da Internet, unless an authority requests longer retention.
  • Emails: up to 12 months after the last exchange, unless more time is needed to handle a claim.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18) you can request confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion, portability, information about who we share it with and withdrawal of consent. If you live in the European Union, the GDPR gives you equivalent rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability.

Email contacto@rio-para-vos.com. We may ask for some information to confirm your identity before replying. To withdraw consent for analytics you do not need to write: use the settings button.

If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) ↗ or, if you live in the European Union, with your country’s data protection authority ↗.

The guide is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly process their data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.
