What your coverage should handle
Travel assistance can give you access to medical care during your trip and, depending on the plan, services for baggage, delays, cancellation or early return. Not all benefits are included or work the same way: some coordinate the service directly and others work by reimbursement. Read the certificate and the specific terms before paying.
Compare these conditions before the price

| Aspect | Useful question |
|---|---|
| Medical care | What are the limit, the deductible and the authorization process? |
| People and dates | Is everyone covered from departure to return? |
| Exclusions | How are pre-existing conditions, pregnancy or sports handled? |
| Baggage and flights | What proof is required, and what limits or deadlines apply? |
| Contact | Is there 24-hour assistance, in what language and through which channel? |
| Payment | Direct service or reimbursement? What documents should the traveler keep? |
Where to request options
You can request quotes for your country of residence, destination and dates from Assist Card, Universal Assistance or Allianz Travel Brasil. Also ask whether your credit card or bank already includes a benefit and under what conditions it applies. This list shows options to look into, not a product recommendation: eligibility, scope and price depend on the contract and your place of residence.
Prepare to use it, not just to buy it
Save your certificate, policy number and emergency contact offline. If you need care, contact the provider following the plan's procedure and keep reports, receipts and communications. Confirm in writing what to do when you can't request prior authorization. See the comparison example →
